The Ohope Beach School redevelopment was carefully staged to allow full school operations throughout the project. Marra Construction managed a two-stage build, including asbestos-affected demolition and a new two-storey learning block with a connecting walkway. Key challenges included extensive ground improvements to address flooding and a floodwater management system. The final build features accessible lifts, upgraded parking, and a durable exterior cladding system. Collaboration with the school and community ensured minimal disruption, delivering a high-quality, functional space that meets the school’s long-term needs.
