Apanui School in Whakatāne was rebuilt by Marra Construction after a devastating arson attack in 2021. The school, which had been lost due to the fire, now has a new building. Marra Construction, working in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education, completed the fast-track project. The new Apanui School was officially blessed and opened on Friday, September 15, 2023.
