Our Story

Marra has been locally owned and operated in the Bay of Plenty for over 40 years and has grown to become one of the largest and most respected commercial builders in Tauranga and throughout the region.

Our site staff are employed by Marra, rather than contracted in, which allows us to have more control over the final outcome. This ability to maintain better control of our projects along with our commitment to excellence and competitive costings is why property developers and commercial building architects return to the team at Marra again and again.

Embracing all areas of commercial and industrial construction including development projects and design and build projects, our team brings a wealth of technical and practical knowledge and experience to each and every project.

Our portfolio, which includes some of the Bay’s largest construction projects, showcases our vast industry experience including retail, education, healthcare, community, residential developments and industrial buildings.
