This project began with an exceeded client budget expectation.
Our team worked collaboratively with the client appointed design team and subcontractors to achieve value engineered options. This reduced the overall costs which enabled the project to commence.
Consisting of significant ground improvements, archaeological discoveries delayed the completion date early in the construction by about three months. Marra worked with the client, local Iwi and Heritage New Zealand to ensure proper handling and protection of the find, and to achieve an agreed amended handover date acceptable to the client.
