Marra Construction was proud to support the revitalisation of Mataatua Wharenui in Whakatāne. The project included the restoration of the historic wharenui and the construction of a new wharekai, interpretive hall, wharepaku, and associated site works. Delivered in partnership with Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Awa, this build reflects a strong commitment to cultural heritage, community use, and long-term functionality.
